Turkish Armed Forces are fully prepared for war, said the country’s Minister of National Defense Ismet Yilmaz, Turkish newspaper Milliyet.

“Today armed forces are much stronger than before, ready to face any threat from outside”, – the minister said.

The terrorist organization “Islamic State” is a serious threat for Turkey and neighboring countries, Yilmaz said.

“Turkey, as before, will fight to eliminate the threat of terrorism in the country”, – the minister said.

According to him, Turkey is currently security is a priority. “Turkey strengthens the defense industry” – said Yilmaz.
