US President Barack Obama called the parents of two Americans who died in the terrorist attack in Brussels this week, he said the White House spokesman, ITAR-TASS reported.

“The president has called the parents of Justin and Stephanie Schultz to express the deepest condolences of myself and of all the people. He assured that Justin and Stephanie symbolized the best that there is in America. The President said their parents, their tragic death has touched the hearts of all of us “- said in a statement.

It also notes that “the president has assured parents that the country is with them at this difficult time.”
