The conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh can be resolved only through negotiations, French President Francois Hollande said.
“President of the Republic deeply regrets the serious incidents that took place in Nagorno-Karabakh in the vicinity of the ceasefire line and the ensuing casualties, including among the civilian population”, – said in a communique of the Elysee Palace.
The French leader called on all parties to the conflict to show restraint and strict observance of the ceasefire.
“There is no other way but the talks the President of the Republic, which in Paris in October 2014 took the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan reaffirmed its commitment to a peaceful settlement of the conflict as soon as possible.”, – The statement says Hollande administration
