President of the Parliamentary Assembly (PA) of the OSCE and Ilkka Kanerva, OSCE PA Special Representative on South Caucasus Kristian Vigenin called on the parties to an immediate cessation of hostilities, reports Report with reference to the statement of the OSCE PA.
“These military operations must stop the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict takes so many lives for many years We call on both parties to immediately cease fire and to exercise maximum restraint to avoid further escalation..”, – Said in a joint statement.
The statement noted that the President and Special Representative reiterated its full support for the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group to find a peaceful solution to the conflict.
