As a result of anti-corruption operations conducted at the University “Akdeniz” (Turkey), 75 employees of the university were detained.

20 of them are women.

At the University in 2013 was a criminal case in connection with corruption. Those arrested are accused of causing damage to the public in the amount of 3 million. Turkish lira (1.5 mln. AZN).

Rector of the University distributed the information confirming the arrests: “May 31 Antalya Security Directorate raided the homes of some of our employees. They were taken to the Security Directorate to testify. The administration monitors the matter. “
