The United States does not seek direct conflict with Iran, but condemns its attacks on Israeli territory, the Pentagon said in a statement published on the department’s website.
“We do not seek conflict with Iran, but we will not hesitate to take action to protect our troops and support the defense of Israel,” the publication said.
It is noted that during the attack, the US military was able to intercept dozens of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and missiles heading towards Israel
