The Russian General Staff has begun preparations for holding exercises with missile formations of the Southern Military District and Navy forces in the near future, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

During the exercise, “a set of activities will be carried out to practice the preparation and use of non-strategic nuclear weapons,” the ministry said.
