Oil supplies from Russia to the Czech Republic via the Druzhba pipeline have been suspended due to payment problems caused by US sanctions against Russia, Reuters reported.

“The suspension of supplies was caused by payment problems between the Polish owner of Czech refineries and Russian suppliers,” Czech Industry Minister Josef Sikela said, the agency reports. It was initially unclear why supplies had stopped.
