The UK has expanded its sanctions list to include several Russian oil and gas companies. Sanctions have been placed on Tatneft (MOEX: TATN), RussNeft, NNK-Oil, and RusNeftegaz.

A total of 24 individuals and entities were added to the list. According to a notice on the British government’s website, the sanctions list also includes UAE-based Saphira Energy and trading companies Redwood Global Supply and Tejarinaft.

The European Union (EU) also expanded its sanctions list against Russia today. 41 more vessels from the Russian “shadow fleet” were placed under restrictions.

In October, the EU adopted the 19th sanctions package. It included Russian banks, cryptocurrency exchanges, and entities in India and China. The ban on transactions with Rosneft and Gazprom Neft was tightened.
