Members of Putin’s Mafia Sechin:
New Villas, Mountain Resort and Royal Hunt of Rosneft CEO

Journalists have found another secret residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin. In fact, this is the head of state’s personal ski resort, which, according to documents, is listed as an object belonging to the state-owned company Rosneft of Igor Sechin.

The construction of the Lunnaya Polyana ski resort on the slope of Mount Fisht in the Republic of Adygea lasted about 10 years, and, according to the builders, “every nail for the residence was delivered by helicopter.” The cost of the facility is estimated at 50 billion rubles, Sobesednik reports.

According to archival extracts from Rosreestr, this ski chalet with a helipad, cable cars and ski slopes belonged to Rosneft and was called the testing ground of the Biosphere scientific center. The tenant of the site is currently classified. It was also learned that the ski resort was guarded by FSB General Oleg Feoktistov (known for his involvement in the case against former head of the Ministry of Economic Development Anatoly Ulyukaev), and the FSO contractor was responsible for installing the security devices.

Workers and local residents call the resort “Vladimir Putin’s dacha.” According to Sobesednik, at least 12 people died during the 10 years of construction at the site – two helicopters crashed, and one worker was crushed by a falling load.

Previously, the site of the presidential ski resort was occupied by the extreme sports hotel “Lunnaya Polyana,” founded by the former head of the local rescue squad Grigory Gorlov, who died three years ago. Shortly before his death, he told journalists that high-ranking generals came to his hotel and really liked the place. After that, officials from the Presidential Property Management Department and representatives of law enforcement agencies visited there, whose names the businessman was afraid to name.

In 2002, the development of the site began, and in 2004, the Administrative Department began removing Lunnaya Polyana from the Caucasus Nature Reserve to legalize the construction that had already begun. At the same time, the FSB maintained a no-fly zone over the site, which also applies to other residences of Vladimir Putin.

Recall that Vladimir Putin has another ski residence, Achipse, in the Krasnodar Territory. According to the documents, this facility was listed as a “House for Reception of Official Guests.” Its construction was carried out by the company Rosinzhenering, and its maintenance was carried out by the state company Gazprom Sotsinvest. In Achipse, the head of state has a personal cable car and a bathhouse with a waterfall.

In 2012, Berlusconi sold the villa for $470 million. FBK valued Putin’s palace three times more expensive – about 100 billion rubles.

The mother of Eduard Khudainatov’s children, Svetlana Eliseeva, purchased four chalets in the Alps between 2017 and 2021 for 26 million euros.

The villas are located in the city of Kitzbühel, where the purchase of a second home is strictly regulated to protect the local population from competition with oligarchs in the market. Nearby is the house used by Putin’s daughter Maria Vorontsova.

The Russian real estate registered to Svetlana is valued at 4 billion rubles. If you count in rubles, together with the villas, it comes to about 7 billion.

Eliseeva herself did not have a high income. In her application for a European golden passport, she directly indicated Khudainatov as her sponsor. The couple has at least two children. The lawyer denies the connection between Svetlana and Eduard, and also claims that she purchased the chalet with her own funds.

Eduard Khudainatov himself is a former Rosneft employee, personally connected to Igor Sechin. The patronage helped Khudainatov make a career in the oil and gas sector and become an oligarch.
