The US armed forces are ready to counter North Korea’s nuclear forces and destroy them in case of need. Such a statement was made by an official of the American Ministry of Defense, reports Yahoo! News.
After North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-un has declared that the nuclear forces of the country should be ready at any time to attack the enemy, the Pentagon has left the hazard assessment of the North Korean arsenal at the same low level.
“The US government estimates has not changed”, – he said. “We have not seen the North Korean test or demonstration of its ability to miniaturize nuclear weapons and equip their intercontinental ballistic missiles,” – the official stressed.
On Friday, March 4, Kim Jong-un, said that North Korea would reconsider its military doctrine to be prepared to launch preemptive strikes in connection with the current situation, which is very dangerous for the country.
