French politicians joined tens of thousands in Paris to protest against rising anti-Semitism amid the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza.
French Prime Minister Elizabeth Bourne, representatives of a number of left-wing parties and far-right leader Marine Le Pen took part in a march in the French capital on Sunday amid tight security.
The country’s President, Emmanuel Macron, did not attend the event, but he expressed his support for the protest and called on citizens to stand up against the “intolerable growth of anti-Semitism that has run its course.”
