Two container ships, MSC Francesca and Epaminondas, are currently fully under the control of the naval forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and are anchored near the Strait of Hormuz.

According to the IRGC, the vessel Epaminondas is “cooperating with the U.S. military,” while MSC Francesca is “linked to Israel.”
