Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski warned Germany that Vladimir Putin will not be satisfied with Ukraine alone if he is allowed to win. He said this in an interview with Bild am Sonntag and other media of the Axel Springer publishing group.

“We have a choice: either we have a defeated Russian army outside Ukraine, or a victorious Russian army on the border with Poland. And then Putin will do the same thing as Hitler did with Czechoslovakia: he will take the industry and people in Ukraine and mobilize them to continue war. It’s better to stop Putin in Ukraine, 500-700 km from here,” Sikorsky said.

He recalled that Russia had attacked Poland many times, so he “wouldn’t be at all surprised” if Putin wanted to do it again. This time, Sikorsky hopes, Russia will lose.

“German politicians seem to be satisfied that Russia will be ready [to attack NATO] only in four or five years, and by then Germany will be ready. But the fact is that before Russia comes to Germany, it will have to reach some other countries. Russia has attacked Poland many times in 500 years of our history. Therefore, we will not be at all surprised. Russia will lose, because we, the West, are much stronger than Russia. Today, Ukraine is not fighting alone. we will not fight alone,” the Polish minister said.
