The Arctic Mulan, a gas carrier carrying a batch of LNG from the Russian Arctic LNG 2 project (both the tanker and the project are under US sanctions), is approaching southern China. Bloomberg writes about this, citing ship tracking data.

Arctic Mulan is currently passing by the island province of Hainan. If the ship unloads in a Chinese port, it will be the first delivery of fuel from the Arctic LNG 2 project to a foreign buyer, the agency notes.

On August 17, Bloomberg wrote that several gas carriers were transporting Arctic LNG 2 products to Asia: at that time, the ships in question were the Iris and Voskhod, as well as two more unnamed tankers.
