North Korea had launched a ballistic missile from a submarine. He told the Committee of the Chiefs of Staff of the Republic of Korea (JCS).

“The missile was launched from the area of the city Sinpo Hamgyong-do province around 11:30 local time,” – Joint Chiefs of Staff said.

Since April North Korea has carried out a series of launches of ballistic missiles into the waters of the Sea of Japan.
